Eligible full-time healthcare occupations with a Florida-based employer.

School & Child Care Staff

Eligible school staff members and child care workers employed full time in Florida.

First Responders & Public Safety

Eligible first responders, court employees, and public safety workers.

Military & Veterans

Eligible service members, reserve members, National Guard members, and certain veterans.

Potential assistance for down payment and closing costs

Assistance amount

Current 2026 program materials describe assistance of up to 5% of the first mortgage amount, subject to a $10,000 minimum and $35,000 maximum.

First mortgage options

Eligible borrowers may use approved conventional, FHA, VA, or USDA first mortgage options through participating lenders.

Primary residence

The property must meet current eligibility requirements and generally be occupied as the borrower’s primary residence.

Funding availability changes

Program funding is limited and may be fully committed before a future allocation becomes available. Requirements and eligible occupations can also change between funding cycles.
